Three Rivers Behavioral Health Expands Facility CampusWith Adolescent Pavilion and Outpatient/Administration Complex
WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. - (August 21, 2009) - Three Rivers Behavioral Health, a Psychiatric Solutions, Inc. facility (PSI), recently opened a new Adolescent Pavilion in addition to a new outpatient/administration building. Construction began last year on both buildings. The Adolescent Pavilion houses beds for patients undergoing both acute and long-term residential treatment, allowing Three Rivers to continue to provide West Columbia and the surrounding communities with excellent and innovative psychiatric help for adolescents. During the development and construction stages of the Pavilion, Three Rivers researched and ultimately implemented leading-edge safety features and technologies to ensure a safer and more therapeutic treatment environment for the adolescent patient population. The new outpatient/administration building on the Three Rivers campus houses the hospital's Intensive Outpatient Program, which is designed for individuals struggling with addiction(s). The Intensive Outpatient Program makes it possible for individuals to remain at home and maintain a regular work and/or school schedule while engaging in comprehensive treatment for substance abuse issues. "We're very excited about these improvements to our hospital," said Three Rivers CEO Jeff Barnett. "These new buildings, combined with renovations currently underway in the original hospital, will ensure that the therapeutic atmosphere of Three Rivers matches the quality of care for which the facility has always been known." A recent grand opening was held at the hospital for members of the community. About Three Rivers Behavioral Health About Psychiatric Solutions, Inc. (PSI) |
